Investigation of the capacitive performance of polyaniline/modified graphite composite electrodes

Abstract

A polyaniline/modified graphite composite electrode (PANi/MGE) was prepared through electrochemical deposition. In spite of no apparent thread-like PANi, the electrochemical tests demonstrate that the PANi/MGE possesses excellent pseudo-capacitive performance and ratio characteristics, with an apparent specific capacitance reaching up to 276 F gāˆ’1, which might be attributed to the synergistic effect between PANi and MGE.
