Separation of the alkaloids in Sophora flavescens Aiton by using a molecular imprinted polymer on a silica-gel surface

Abstract

Here we report a molecular imprinted polymer synthesised on the surface of silica gel that used sophoridine as the template. The obtained molecular imprinted material was successfully applied to separate the alkaloids in Sophora flavescens Aiton. The method used here may thus also be used as a new strategy to separate other substances with similar structures in biological samples.
