Layer-by-layer self-assembly of a sandwich-like graphene wrapped SnOx@graphene composite as an anode material for lithium ion batteries

Abstract

Sandwich-like hybrid nanosheets consisting of graphene wrapped SnO/SnO2 nanocrystals anchored on graphene have been synthesized via a facile layer-by-layer self-assembly approach. The hierarchical structure exhibits good cyclability and rate performance benefiting from the unique double protection of graphene layers.
