Easy synthesis of layered titanate nanosheets with 3D hierarchical flower-like structures

Abstract

Flower-like layered titanate nanosheets were synthesized by a solvothermal reaction that directly used tetrabutyl titanate as a titanium source and poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) as a stabilizer in acetic acid solution. The layer number of each nanosheet varied from 6 to 10, and the interlayer distance was about 0.83 nm.
