An unprecedented (3, 6)-connected net featuring tcj-3,6-P21/c topology

Abstract

A new Cd(II) coordination polymer, namely [(CH3)2NH2][Cd2 (BTC)(HBTC)(L)]·(DMF)(H2O)3 (1), was obtained by solvo(hydro)thermal self-assembly of Cd(NO3)2, N4,N4′-di(pyridin-4-yl)biphenyl-4,4′-dicarboxamide(L) and 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3BTC). The skeleton of it can be described as a (3, 6)-connected net, classified by an unprecedented (3 × 52)(32 × 42 × 55 × 65 × 7) tcj-3,6-P21/c topology.
