Synthesis, photophysical and electrochemical properties of Fréchet type dienone core dendrimers with benzothiazole surface unit

Abstract

New dienone core based Fréchet type dendrimers with a fluorophoric benzothiazole surface unit have been synthesized successfully in good yields by a convergent approach and their photophysical and electrochemical properties are found to depend on dendrimer generation. The intensity of absorption and emission increases as the generation of dendrimer increases.
