Microfluidic chip for rapid analysis of cerebrospinal fluid infected with Staphylococcus aureus
Abstract
A microfluidic assay based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification was successfully developed to analyse Staphylococcus aureus in clinical cerebrospinal fluid samples. A set of primers was designed showing high specificity and good sensitivity. The reagent consumption was reduced to 1.5 μl and the total analysis time is about 60 minutes.
