Facile solution combustion synthesis of monoclinic VO2: a unique and versatile approach

Abstract

The present synthesis of single crystalline VO2 (M) via solution combustion (SC) within 5 min at low temperature significantly reduces the complexity of handling the reaction, such as the avoidance of an inert atmosphere and multiple steps. The rod-like morphology of VO2 obtained through SC is the first of its kind.
