An amino-acid derivative as the universal molecular unit endowing thermoresponsive properties to water-soluble polymers with plenty of hydroxyl or amino groups

Abstract

Both dendritic and linear water-soluble polymers with plenty of hydroxyl or amino groups can be endowed with thermoresponsive properties through partial modification with the same amino-acid derivative.
