Highly crystalline iron/iron oxidenanosheetsvia lyotropic liquid crystal templating

Abstract

A simple, room temperature reduction-hydrolysis of FeCl3 in H2O/Triton X-100 serving as a lyotropic hexagonal columnar liquid crystal template is an effective and mild approach for preparing highly crystalline iron/iron oxide nanosheets.
