High-performance LiFePO4/C nanocomposites prepared from a micro-reactor based on an unusual water–oil system

Abstract

LiFePO4/C nanocomposites were prepared from a facile clean micro-reactor based on the water–n-hexane–CTAB–Li2CO3–FeCl3·6H2O–H3PO4 system without using any expensive and sensitive Fe2+ salts or being under a reductive atmosphere. These materials show excellent reversible capacities of 142.2 and 57.1 mA h g−1 at 0.1 and 10 C, respectively.
