Template-free synthesis of mesoporous Co3O4 with controlled morphologies for lithium ion batteries

Abstract

Mesoporous Co3O4 microspheres and microcubes were fabricated via the morphology transformation of CoCO3. When evaluated for use in lithium ion batteries, mesoporous Co3O4 showed high reversible capacity and good rate performance.
