Direct synthesis of hierarchical zeolites with oriented nanocrystals without adding extra templates

Abstract

Hierarchical zeolites formed by the aggregation of uniformly oriented nanocrystals are directly synthesized using a high yielding quasi-solid phase method without adding extra templates, and the method is scalable. The hierarchical zeolites also exhibit excellent catalytic performance for the alkylation of benzene with propylene.
