Cobalt, rhodium and iridium†
Abstract
The year 2012 has witnessed some remarkable work in the field of Co, Rh and Ir chemistry, including the chemical activation of the heptaphosphide trianion (Co), metal mediated synthesis of an azaborine (Rh), a molecular sensor for monitoring O2 levels in living cells and tissues (Ir), the first reversible and recyclable H2 storage system using CO2 (Ir) and the use of photocatalyst systems in chemical transformations (Ir).
