Synthesis and characterization of nearly monodisperse deltoidal icositetrahedral In2O3nanocrystalsvia one-pot pyrolysis reaction

Abstract

In2O3 nanocrystals with the deltoidal icositetrahedron shape were synthesized for the first time. The one-pot pyrolysis reaction using indium stearate as the precursor yields nearly monodisperse and highly crystalline nanocrystals and paves the way for easy scale-up. These nanocrystals exhibit UV absorption and PL emission behaviors typical of similar nanocrystals.
