Initial Coulombic efficiency improvement of the Li1.2Mn0.567Ni0.166Co0.067O2 lithium-rich material by ruthenium substitution for manganese

Abstract

The initial Coulombic efficiencies of the Li1.2Mn0.567Ni0.166Co0.067O2 lithium-rich material are largely improved by ruthenium substitution for manganese, and the highest value is about 86% with 284 mA h gāˆ’1 initial discharge capacity at room temperature when the content of substituted ruthenium is 5 mol%.
