Spin canting magnetization in a 3D Cu(ii) complex based on molybdate oxide cluster and 5-triazole isophthalic acid†
Abstract
A unique 3D Cu(II) complex based on a molybdate oxide cluster and 5-triazole isophthalic acid was synthesized under hydrothermal condition: {Cu2(HL)2[Mo4O13]}ยท2H2O (H2L = 5-triazole isophthalic acid) (1). Compound 1 shows a spin canting magnetization behavior, and a definite hysteresis loop with a large coercive field of 6.85 kOe.
