Bridging calixarene-based {Co4} units into a square or belt with aromatic dicarboxylic acids

Abstract

Three new calixarene-based compounds were constructed by bridging Co4-TC4A shuttlecock-like secondary building units (SBUs) with aromatic dicarboxylic acids, two featured with isolated squares and the third featured with a wavelike belt.
