Enantioselective carbonyl–ene reaction on BINOLate/titanium catalyst encapsulated in magnetic nanoreactors

Abstract

An asymmetric multicomponent catalyst, BINOLate/titanium, successfully encapsulated in the nanocages of mesoporous silicas exhibits much higher activity than the homogeneous counterpart in quasi solvent-free enantioselective carbonylene reaction, owing to the confinement effect of the nanoreactor.
