A new efficient ironcatalyst for olefinepoxidation with hydrogen peroxide

Abstract

A new aminopyridine ligand derived from bipiperidine (the product of full reduction of bipyridine, bipy) coordinates to iron(II) in a cis-α fashion, yielding a new selective catalyst for olefin epoxidation with H2O2 under limiting substrate conditions.
