Here reported a facile approach to synthesize rattle type magnetic nanocomposite with a permeable Fe3O4 shell and noble metallic core. The core of yolk materials are controlled by varying the metallic ion precursor (such as K2PdCl4, AgNO3, KAuCl4, and Cu(NO3)2).
