Flexible dye-sensitized solar cells containing multiple dyes in discrete layers

Abstract

A facile approach for incorporating multiple dyes in discrete layers has been successfully applied to flexible dye-sensitized solar cells, showing an overall increase in incident photon-to-current efficiency. The photoanode achieved ∼1% higher power conversion efficiency compared to the electrode prepared by soaking in a solution containing multiple dyes.
