Nanopatterning the graphite surface with ordered macrocyclic or ribbon-like assemblies of isocytosine derivatives: an STM study

Abstract

STM studies of the self-assembly at the solid–liquid interface of substituted isocytosine derivatives exposing side groups featuring different steric hindrance revealed the formation of distinct crystalline nanopatterns.
