Recent advances in anti-HIV natural products

Abstract

Covering: 2004 to April 2010

This review covers the recent advances in anti-HIV natural products of various origins and chemical classes. The literature of the last seven years has been thoroughly reviewed, with around 160 compounds discussed and 141 references cited. Some molecules in an advanced stage of development, such as calanolide A and bevirimat, are also mentioned.
