Synthesis of Gd doped CdSenanoparticles for potential optical and MR imaging applications

Abstract

CdSe:Gd nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized and stabilized in aqueous solution with large proton longitudinal relaxivity, potentially serving as dual model optical and MR imaging agents.
