Initial employment of di-2-pyridyl ketone as a route to nickel(ii)/lanthanide(iii)clusters: triangular Ni2Ln complexes

Abstract

Using monoanionic forms of di-2-pyridyl ketone as the only primary ligand, triangular Ni2M (M = lanthanide, Y) complexes with interesting magnetic properties have been synthesized.
