Effect of phase transition temperature of liposomes on preparation of fullerene-encapsulated liposomes by the fullerene-exchange reaction

Abstract

It is shown that the fullerene-exchange reaction from the cyclodextrin cavity to liposomes, to prepare lipid membrane-incorporating fullerenes, occurred above the phase transition temperature (Tm) of liposomes.
