Transformation of cytosine to uracil in single-stranded DNAvia their oxime sulfonates

Abstract

The novel transformation of cytosine oxime sulfonate (C*) to uracil sulfonate (U*) proceeded by a CoII-assisted benzoyl peroxide reaction, eventually leading to the conversion of cytosine to uracil.
