Shell crosslinked nanoparticles carrying silver antimicrobials as therapeutics

Abstract

Amphiphilic polymer nanoparticles loaded with silver cations or/and N-heterocyclic carbenesilver complexes were assessed as antimicrobial agents against Gram-negative pathogens Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
