[(silox)3M]2(μ:η11-P2) (M = Nb, Ta) and [(silox)3Nb]2{μ:η22-(cP3cP3)} from (silox)3M (M = NbPMe3, Ta) and P4 (silox = tBu3SiO)

Abstract

Complexes containing the μ:η11-P2 binding mode of diphosphorus have been prepared, along with a P6-containing byproduct.

Graphical abstract: [(silox)3M]2(μ:η1,η1-P2) (M = Nb, Ta) and [(silox)3Nb]2{μ:η2,η2-(cP3–cP3)} from (silox)3M (M = NbPMe3, Ta) and P4 (silox = tBu3SiO)
