Amino acid directed mirror symmetry breaking and chiral amplification of ethylenediammonium sulfate crystals

Abstract

Directed chiral symmetry breaking and asymmetric amplification of ethylenediammonium sulfate in the presence of chiralamino acids was achieved using an abrasion/grinding method.
