Visible-light induced superhydrophilicity on a WO3/ITO/CaFe2O4 heterojunction thin film

Abstract

The WO3/ITO/CaFe2O4 film surface showed visible-light induced superhydrophilicity, which is ascribed to efficient charge separation, resulting from the recombination of photo-electrons from WO3 with photo-holes from CaFe2O4 in the ITO layer.
