Pd-catalyzed diarylation of aniline—a way to a non-linear bis(terpyridyl) ligand providing increased electronic communication

Abstract

An amine-linked bis(terpyridyl) ligand, prepared viaPd-catalyzed diarylation of aniline, mediates unusually strong metal–metal interaction in its Ru2 polypyridyl complex.
