We report high performance organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) with the modified Cu bottom-contact electrodes. Efficient modification of the Cu electrodes with nanometer-size copper tetracyanoquinodimethane (Cu-TCNQ) increases the electrode/organic layer contact area and reduces contact resistance.
