A guest-templated (6,3)-sheet constructed using asymmetric hydrogen-bonding anions

Abstract

A hydrogen-bonded (6,3)-sheet similar to that of trimesic acid, containing asymmetric anions as the three-connecting nodes joined by NH⋯nitrile interactions, is templated by a cationic Cu(II) guest species.
