An extraordinarily high Ba2+ conducting solid

Abstract

High Ba2+ ion conduction in a solid, which is within the range for practical application, was successfully realized by doping Ba(NO3)2 into the interstitial open spaces present in a cubic (Gd0.4Nd0.6)2O3 solid solution.
