Abstract

The complexes [Et₄N]₃[Ln(η²-dcnm)₆] (Ln = La, Ce, Nd, Gd, dcnm = dicyanonitrosomethanide) have discrete N, O 12-coordination owing to symmetrical chelation of the nitroso donor groups.
