Novel one step hydrothermal synthesis of TiO2/WO3 nanocomposites with enhanced photocatalytic activity

Abstract

A novel and simple one step hydrothermal process is used to prepare TiO2/WO3 nanocomposites, in which WO3 and TiO2 are present in hexagonal and anatase crystalline forms, respectively, and have enhanced photocatalytic activity towards trichloroethylene degradation in the gas phase.
