Thorpe–Ingold effect on the conformation and photophysical properties of dialkylsilylene-spaced divinylarene copolymers†
Abstract
Geminal disubstitution on silicon in dialkylsilylene-spaced divinylarene copolymers may dictate the conformation and photophysical properties of the copolymers, bulky iPr substituted copolymers being more folded than Me substituent analogues.
