Direct synthesis of ordered mesoporous silica functionalized by Si–H groups

Abstract

We present the synthesis of an ordered mesoporous silica bearing functional hydrosilane groups (Si–H) by co-condensation under acidic conditions of tetraethoxysilane and triethoxysilane in the presence of Brij 76, a non-ionic structure-directing agent.
