Self-assembly of uniquely structured porphyrin network solids by charged N–H⋯Cl and N–H⋯O hydrogen bonds

Abstract

New motifs for the supramolecular assembly of crystalline porphyrin network solids directed by charged N–H⋯Cl and N–H⋯O hydrogen bonds are presented, using the tetra(4-pyridyl)- and tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)-porphyrin building blocks.
