Coordination chemistry of a tris-bidentate bridging ligand: a 2-D coordination network and a T-symmetry hexanuclear coordination cage

Abstract

A tris-bidentate ligand containing three N,S-donor chelating arms attached to a central phenyl spacer coordinates to three separate metal ions, affording a complex 2-D coordination network with Cu(I) and a hexanuclear Cd6L4 coordination cage with Cd(II).
