The use of the bromosulfimide Ph2S[double bond, length as m-dash]NBr as nitrogen source in reactions with selenium-based systems

Abstract

The N-bromosulfimide Ph2S[double bond, length as m-dash]NBr reacts with a range of selenium sources including, uniquely, elemental selenium itself, to generate the explosive nitride Se4N4.
