MCuB7O12·nH2O (M = Na, K ): A new copper borate with 14-ring channels

Abstract

The title compounds, which were synthesized in boric acid flux under mild conditions (493 K), contain a 14-member ring borate framework consisting of octahedral (CuO6), tetrahedral (BO4) and triangular (BO3) units.
