Syntheses and molecular structures of η3-[(η5-Cp*)(CO)2Fe–AsPC(SiMe3)2]M(CO)25-Cp) (M = Mo, W): the first complexes featuring η3-arsaphosphaallyl ligands

Abstract

Reaction of (η5-Cp)(CO)2M[double bond, length as m-dash]P[double bond, length as m-dash]C(SiMe3)24a (M = Mo) and 4b (M = W) with (η5-Cp*)(CO)2Fe–As[double bond, length as m-dash]C(NMe2)25 affords the η3-1-arsa-2-phosphaallyl complexes [(η5-Cp*)(CO)2Fe–AsPC(SiMe3)2]M(CO)25-Cp) 6a and 6b, the molecular structures of which were determined by X-ray analyses.
