Syntheses and molecular structures of η3-[(η5-Cp*)(CO)2Fe–AsPC(SiMe3)2]M(CO)2(η5-Cp) (M = Mo, W): the first complexes featuring η3-arsaphosphaallyl ligands

Abstract

Reaction of (η⁵-Cp)(CO)₂MPC(SiMe₃)₂4a (M = Mo) and 4b (M = W) with (η⁵-Cp*)(CO)₂Fe–AsC(NMe₂)₂5 affords the η³-1-arsa-2-phosphaallyl complexes [(η⁵-Cp*)(CO)₂Fe–AsPC(SiMe₃)₂]M(CO)₂(η⁵-Cp) 6a and 6b, the molecular structures of which were determined by X-ray analyses.
