The choice of absorbing lines in flame atomic absorption spectrometry—a new look at an old topic

Abstract

Comparison of the LOD, sensitivity, analytical reproducibility over the concentration range, and application of the two lines to the determination of Pb in brass by FAAS led us to conclude that the 217.0 nm line has no advantage over the less sensitive 283.3 nm line.
