Solution- and solid-state characterisation of a configurationally-stable β-diketiminato-supported calcium primary amide

Abstract

‘Selective’ protonolysis of the β-diketiminato calcium derivative [Ca{(NDippCMe)2CH}{N(SiMe3)2}(THF)] (Dipp = C6H3iPr2-2,6) with H2N(CH2)2OCH3 produced the dimeric species [Ca{(NDippCMe)2CH}{μ-NH(CH2)2OMe}]2, which has been fully characterised in solution and in the solid state.
