Low-temperature reactions in the chemistry of nanosystems

Abstract

The results of recent investigations on the reactions proceeding at low and ultra-low temperatures are considered. Trends in development of new avenues of cryochemical research, related to reactions of metal atoms, clusters and nanoparticles and to processes occurring in quantum nanocrystals and superfluid helium nanodroplets are analysed. Specific features of the formation of films and metal-containing nanosystems at low temperatures are discussed. The bibliography includes 265 references.
