New examples of ring–chain tautomeric conversions

Abstract

A new type of ring–chain tautomerism, which consists in the reversible conversion of γ-halobutyric acid dialkylamides into dialkyl(tetrahydro-2,2-furylidene)ammonium halides, was found.
