New phase phenomena in ternary systems at high pressures – Cosolvency and miscibility windows up to 100 MPa

Abstract

For selected systems CO2 + alkan-1-ol + alkane, new high-pressure phase phenomena have been found. Isobaric cosolvency effects and isothermal miscibility windows are presented phenomenologically and numerically. Additionally, rules for the occurrence of these effects are given.
